Machine Learning

I’m a master student in Machine Learning Program studying at Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering at Khalifa University in UAE. I used Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in my senior design project. My team and I, produced and designed a hand glove containing six sensors that translate American Sign Language (ASL) to voice and text through a mobile phone application. The result of this project was published in an Academic Article titled as “Flexible gesture recognition using wearable inertial sensors” in MWSCAS IEEE Conference, 2017. I published another article during my undergraduate studies reflecting the basics of innovation in correlation with entrepreneurship and engineering. This article was published in the anthology Book “Great Innovators and their legacies”, and is titled as “Founders of HP: Printing the future”.

Aside from the academic achievements I have accomplished, I was able to develop and advance my skills and knowledge in Electrical Engineering. I have been working as an Electrical Engineer for the past four years in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) construction field. During my work experience, I managed to register myself as an approved Electrical Engineer by the Regulation and Supervision Bureau in the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) in UAE.

I’m interested in analyzing and solving real world problems using Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence. I believe in combining both software and hardware aspects together to produce the best optimal solution.
